An inherited gene on the creative side, a passion  for life and our amazing environment and lots of time and patience are just some of the ingredients that have contributed to Chris' success as an artist. He began the journey as a child, encouraged by his mother Norma, also a talented artist. It was never an obvious career option from school, more of a hobby for many years.

Chris ventured down many paths, growing up. His discovery later in life that he could paint pictures and sell them was an amazing revelation. An absolute dream job. Drawing on his love for nature and wildlife as an inspiration for this new and exciting path was the beginning of a very rewarding but challenging future. Mastering fine art technique has taken Chris many years, understanding all the ingredients that make a picture work - the light, shade, movement helped in the  pursuit to create that masterpiece.

Chris is currently venturing into different styles and subjects allowing his creative juices to flow into diversity. Water is one of his passionate themes.

His work is very much sought after and graces the walls of homes across the globe. Chris is based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
